The fiesty and vivacious bandra-girl Genelia D'Souza and now Genelia Deshmukh was born on 5th August 1987 in Mumbai. She completed her schooling from Apostolic Carmel High School in Bandra and graduated from St Andrew's College in Bandra with a degree in Management Studies.She was a bright student ad an aspiring sorts athlete too. A great sprinter and a national level football player. She made her deut into Bollywood with the film Tujhe Meri Kasam while during her college.Though the movie failed miserably at the box office, Genelia was appreciated for her fresh face and talent in acting. She was also appreciaed for her role as a demanding wife in the multi starrer Masti in 200.She gave major hits in tollywood including the Tamil as well as Telugu film industry like Boys,Saatam,Samba,Sye,Katha, ,Dhee,Ready(Telugu),Happy, Chennai Kadhal etc. She made a comeback into bollywood with her film Mere Baap Pehele Aaap in 2008 opposite Akshaye Khanna whic failed miserably at the box office and she was crticized as lacking acting skills. She made a perfect comeback with KJo's Jaane tu yaa Jaane naa as the bubbly girl next door Aditi and won the hearts of many. Later she also appeared in films like Life Partner which failed at the box office,Chance pe dance(average grosser),Force(major hit),Tere naal love ho gaya,Jai ho(cameo),etc which gave her the needed limelight. She married her long time sweeheart Indian Actor nad son of the former Late. Mr Vilasrao Deshmukh, Ritesh Deshmukh in 2012. She is currently working on projects likeIts my life, Rock the Shaadi and Hook ya Crook.
