Tanishaa Mukerji is an Indian film actress who is prominent in Hindi, Marathi, Telugu and Tamil film industries. She made her debut with the Hindi movie, Sssshhh... in 2003. She got her first hit with Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar wherein she acted along with actors Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. Tanishaa was also a popular contestant in the hit reality show Bigg Boss. She is the daughter of Shomu Mukherjee and veteran Bollywood actress Tanuja. Tanishaa is the younger sister of Bollywood actress Kajol and her brother-in-law is Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan.[1] She participated in the television reality show Bigg Boss 7 and was the first runner up.[2][3] She was later seen as one of the judges in the stand-up comedy show Gangs of Haseepur.
