MUMBAI: The Kapil Sharma Show is one of the most loved comedy chat shows on television.
Kapil's show had begun way back in 2013. It was titled "Comedy Nights With Kapil" back then and aired on COLORS Tv until 2016. The show went off - air, owing to Kapil's personal problems.
After a long break, the show returned on another television channel, Sony Entertainment and it was was titled " The Kapil Sharma Show".
Two years back, the show went off - air and Kapil had promised the audience that they would be back with a new season soon.
As we had reported earlier, the show is returning with a brand new season, and it has gone digital now. It will stream on Netflix.
The entire cast would be there, including Krushna Abhishek, Rajeev Thakur, Kiku Sharda, Archana Puran Singh. They will continue the show, but Sumona Chakravarti won't be part of this new season.
But the biggest surprise and USP of this show would be return of Sunil Grover after the fall-out he had with Kapil way back in 2016.
There were reports suggesting that on a world tour, Kapil slapped Sunil Grover and post that, the ace comedian vouched not to work with Kapil.
Even Salman Khan, who was the producer of The Kapil Sharma Show, revealed on the show that he has tried to convince Sunil to come back, but he wouldn't change his decision.
Finally, Sunil is back and the audience cannot keep calm to watch the two back on screen, the two big names when it comes to stand up comedians.
The show is titled "The Great Indian Kapil Show". Now, if one remembers, Kapil began his career with the show "The Great Indian Laughter". The launch date of the Netflix series will be announced soon.
