MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with another exciting update from the world of OTT.
Gear up for a new series tentatively titled Udhamgarh. Saeed Khan, a Rajasthan-based businessman, is producing the series, and popular TV actors Iqbal Khan and Nishant Malkani have been signed for the lead characters. Tellychakkar.com recently broke the news about Bollywood star Chunky Pandey and Kiran Kumar having bagged the series to play the pivotal parts.
We also informed our readers that actress Eisha Singh and Sidhika Sharma will be a part of the project. We shared actress Shivagi Vajpayee, who started her career from Zee TV’s Dance India Dance, will also be seen in the webseries. We also have news that Mirzapur fame Shaji Chaudhary has also bagged Udhamgarh and will be seen portraying a prominent role.
Well, now we have news that Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2 actor Athar Siddiqui will also be a part of the show. He will play the role of a contract killer in the series and his part will be that of a journey of a boy who goes on to become a huge gangster.
Directed by Shadab Khan, Udhamgarh is set in the 90s. It is a unique tale of people who let their ego destroy their lives to such an extent that it is repaired. The entire web-series is being shot near Udaipur, Rajasthan. The filming has already begun, and it will be released under the banner of M.S. Films and Entertainment.
The series is touted to launch on one of the leading OTT platforms.
