MUMBAI: Khakee: The Bihar Chapter (season1) was a great success, it was among the top 10 shows for more than five months after its release. Seeing the success the makers have announced the second season. Directed by Neeraj Pandey Khakee is a cop drama set in Bihar’s Sheikhpura district, which follows the story of an IPS officer who tries to bring down a gang involved in criminal activities.
Director Neeraj Pandey took to Instagram to share this announcement with a video which had the recap and also had fans appreciating the show and demanding the new season of the series. The Post was captioned, ‘As always we look forward to your love, wishes and blessings with the announcement of Season 2 of Khakee’.
Khakee is one of Neeraj Pandey’s works, previously he has made Special 26, Baby, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Aiyaary among others. Khakee stars Karan Tacker, Avinash Tiwary, Nikita Dutta, Jatin Sharma, Aishwarya Sushmita, Abhimanyu Singh and Ashutosh Rana among others.
The critically acclaimed series is all set for its another season which marks the beginning of the collaboration of Neeraj Pandey’s Friday Storytellers LLP, the digital content production division of Friday Filmworks. This collaboration will join forces for a range of ventures starting with Khakee season 2.
