Veiled under the guise of his sparkling humour, Minhaj often took up cudgels on behalf of injustices he perceived needed to be showcased on a global platform. And Netflix offered him the perfect podium.

He took the bull by the horns on his refreshingly divergent show unfailingly, every single time.
His unique and incisive perspective on news, events and global issues of importance, combined with well-researched facts and information, added substance and teeth to his show. Patriot Act With Hasan Minhaj first made its appearance on Netflix in October 2018. It was thereafter renewed for season after season, with the last, Season 6, premiering on Netflix in May 2020.
