MUMBAI: The Clef Music Awards 2025, held recently has received widespread acclaim from some of Bollywood's most respected music personalities, with industry experts Armaan Malik, Anu Malik, Daboo Malik, Shalmali Kholgade, Jigar Saraiya, Ronu Majumdar, Vaishali Samant, Shibani Kashyap expressing strong support for the platform's dedication to celebrating independent musicians from across India.
The 5th edition of the Clef Music Awards supported by Community Partner (Indian Performing Right Society Limited) concluded as a spectacular celebration of independent music talent, recognizing over 100 artists across 50+ categories and showcasing India's vibrant independent music scene. Major winners included Sumeet Tappoo, who secured multiple awards across Devotional, Ghazal, and Classical categories, and Hanumankind, who dominated the Rap category with wins for "Big Dawgs" and "Run It Up." The ceremony particularly emphasized regional diversity with winners spanning multiple languages and cultural traditions, from S.J. Jananiy's victories in Kannada and Tamil categories to K3M's English rock recognition and Abiogenesis's Naga language award, demonstrating the platform's commitment to recognizing diverse linguistic and cultural expressions.
