MUMBAI: Monaz Mevawala needs no introduction. 

She is one of the most loved actresses on television and is popular for her role of Roshan Singh Sodhi from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on Sab TV. (Also Read: Amit Bhatt AKA Champaklal of Tarak Mehta reveals the time he spends on make-up, and we are in for a shock!) 

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Monaz got candid about her role in the show and spilled beans about her character in the show.

She shared, “I always wanted to do performance oriented roles and the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi was something which I think I could make it one. Whether it is Rajan Shahi, Ekta Kapoor or Asit Modi, currently I am associated with Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and I will give my 100 percent to it.”

Monaz is also very active on her social media handle and gets various comments on her handle when she puts her dance reels. 

On being questioned about the number of proposals she gets through her DM, Monaz laughed as she expressed, “Well, I do get but nobody just asks such questions directly and even if it is, I am not someone who would get into something randomly.”

TellyChakkar also asked Monaz about the no-affair clause which a lot of production houses add to their contract. 

Monaz quips, “I am not aware of any such clause but there are other clauses which are interesting that you have to take care of your health and your looks. Obviously, you suddenly cannot be looking different or growing fat. It will affect the show!”
