The talented actor Akshay Mhatre, who is seen playing the lead role in Piyaa Albela, is a big wanderlust.

Akshay loves travelling and he wishes to take a tour with his Piyaa Albela team and Bollywood actor Irfan Khan.

In a quick talk with Tellychakkar.com he shared some of his inclinations pertaining to travel.  

What do you do while travelling?

I love travelling and I notice minute things and enjoy grazing at nature. When I am holidaying I prefer keeping my phone aside and enjoy the moment.

Your Dream destination?

Any destination is fine for me. I believe place doesn’t really matter but it is on a person who can make their holidays exciting.

Best vacation till date?

I haven’t travelled a lot yet but my best trip till date is with my college friends to Kolad and Kerala.

What do you prefer hills, beaches, or monuments?

Hills.

How do you like to travel by road, air or water?

Road travelling is fun as you get to enjoy the nature.

3 things that you cannot do without in your travel kit?

Earphones and sunglasses.

Ever travelled alone or wish to?

I haven’t yet but I wish to travel alone someday.  

Best season to travel?

Winter and Monsoon.

Your travel buddy?

My school and college friends.

Which is that one place where you would never like to visit again?

I had visited Daman for couple of days with my friends. I thought it will be nice relaxing time but the moment I reached the Damna beach I was shocked to see the place flooded with people everywhere. The beach was nothing less than fish market. I couldn’t stand there was for more than five minutes.

I would like to travel with my Piyaa Albela team and Bollywood celeb Irfan Khan.
