Reports of Sandhya Singh, composers Jatin and Lalit and singer Sulakshana and Vijayta Pandit’s murdered sister, being a desperately lonely woman seeking strangers’ company for solace, has not gone down well with the family. Apparently the family is less than satisfied with the manner in which the probe has been carried out.

The mystery surrounding the ghastly murder of Sandhya Singh, the eldest sister of the musical Pandit family siblings Sulakshana,Vijeta, Jatin and Lalit, has just deepened. A prominent member of the family under strict condition of anonymity, has revealed the possible involvement of an outsider in the murder.

49 days after composer Jatin and Lalit and singers Sulakshana and Vijeta Pandit’s eldest sister Sandhya Singh went missing, her body parts have been discovered on Palm Beach Road , thereby putting a catastrophic closure on the Pandit family’s and the missing woman’s husband Jaiprakash Singh’s prolonged agony that began when Sandhya disappeared in broad daylight from a busy area of Mumbai after she was dropped by a friend in front of a bank.

Former actress and wife of music composer Aadesh Shrivastav, Vijeta Pundit is sickened and distraught with worry about her sister Sandhya Singh who has gone missing since 13 December. Vijeta whose fear is that her sister was killed for her jewellery just as she was about to enter the bank, is baffled that the Mumbai police have not been able to gather any information on the missing lady’s whereabouts.
