Ankita Lokhande lights candle to join peaceful online protest for SSR; here's how fans reacted

MUMBAI: Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande were one of Television’s most adorable couples. The duo who fell in love while shooting for Pavitra Rishta, called it quits after dating for almost 6 years. Sushant ended his life on June 14, and Ankita looked devastated when she arrived at the late actor’s abode to pay her last respects to the family, days after his tragic demise. For a month, Ankita has been grieving the loss of her former boyfriend and good friend Sushant Singh Rajput. On his first month's death anniversary, Manav’s Archana lit a candle to pray for the actor.

As SSR’s last film Dil Bechara is set to hit the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar, tomorrow, i.e., July 24, netizens began to pray for the actor and Ankita too joined the online peaceful protest. Ankita took to Insta account and shared a picture of a candle that she lit in his memory. Captioning it, Lokhande wrote, “HOPE,PRAYERS AND STRENGTH !!! Keep smiling wherever you are.” After reading her post for SSR, netizens can’t help but call them ‘one true love.’ We came across many comments that sent prayers, love and strength to her.
