MUMBAI: Movie powerhouse performer Sonakshi Sinha is once again the talk of the town as she gears up for the release of her much-anticipated supernatural thriller Pishachini, arriving in cinemas this Friday.

In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, Sonakshi opened up about an interesting moment during the making of Pishachini when she directly asked the film’s producer, Prerna Arora, why she was chosen for such an unconventional and dark role.
“I actually asked Prerna why she wanted me for this part,” Sonakshi revealed. “In the film, I play a true Pishachini. She's powerful, terrifying, and creates absolute chaos. It’s a very intense role. When I questioned her decision, Prerna told me she needed a strong performer to bring that energy and conviction to the screen. She believed I could do justice to it, and I really appreciate that kind of faith.”
Reflecting on what drew her to the role, Sonakshi added, “When I heard the narration, I realised how powerful the character was. A good story always needs balance if there’s a hero like Shiva, there must be an equally strong opposing force like Pishachini. That clash is what makes a film truly compelling.”
With her bold choice and commitment to challenging roles, Sonakshi Sinha is all set to mesmerise audiences in a never-seen-before avatar.
