Ranbir Kapoor seeks approval of Sriram Raghavan’s script for banner revival

Not so long ago, Ranbir Kapoor had made public his intentions of reviving the R K banner, brought into existence by his late grandfather Raj Kapoor. Ever since he made the announcement, Ranbir has been constantly working with his father Rishi Kapoor and uncle Randhir Kapoor looking up scripts that have come their way. It is now said that Ranbir was recently approached by director Sriram Raghavan with a script. After listening to it, the actor felt that this could well be just the right film for the banner’s resurrection. He has now sought help from his father to supervise the script and to make sure that it turns out to be a commercial film. Rishi will eventually produce the film once everything is finalised. The last film produced under the RK banner was Aa Ab Laut Chalein. Other past productions include Ram Teri Ganga Maili, Prem Granth and Heena.
