Sunny Leone's sexuality helped Ragini MMS 2 but not Jackpot - Vikram Bhatt

Sunny Leone did what she couldn’t do in her previous two outings – setting the cash registers ringing with the Horrex movie (a combination of horror and sex) Ragini MMS 2. While Sunny’s oomph and dare bare impressed many cinema goers, the new-age master of Horrex, Vikram Bhatt feels that it is the producer and director who should be credited for the success of Ragini MMS 2. “I would say the producer and the director of Ragini MMS 2 deserve a pat on their back more than Sunny. It is they who conceptualized the movie and executed it to perfection,” said Vikram who hasn’t got a chance to see the movie yet. Vikram Bhatt whose film stables have churned out a plethora of horrex movies in the past feels that the trend of horror and sex as epitomized in Ragini MMS 2 is nothing new and has been in vogue since Raaz days. “Horror and sex have always gone hand in glove with each other. Nothing novel about it. It’s been there since Raaz days,” explained Vikram. The director, however, did have a word of praise for Sunny Leone. “I have to say Sunny’s sexuality did help the movie. It certainly didn’t help Jackpot though.” Wonder if Vikram would like to utilize Sunny’s sexuality in any of his forthcoming horror movies!!!
