Guns and rotis

Time and again it has been proven that acts of innocence and over enthusiasm are precursors to trouble. This statement can be justified in reference to a recent incident in Phulwa’s life.

Shankar rose up early the day after he patched up with his father Budhiya and was cleaning his guns. Meanwhile, his father was busy cooking in the kitchen. Budhiya then walked up to his son and asked him to lend a helping hand in the kitchen. Shankar then started preparing rotis for his family. Phulwa notices the guns and in order to help Shankar dips them in the soap solution for cleaning, but the act spoils the guns.

After the shoot, the crew tried the rotis prepared by Angad, who plays the role of Shankar, and the expression on their faces was not exactly that of admiration. When we asked Angad about this he said, “Well, I think the rotis tasted good. I have tried my hand at cooking before, the only issue was that I prepared rotis that resembled shapes of different countries and struggled to get them round. Thank God, they didn’t cast me for Kitchen Champion or else I would have turned it into a comedy show.”
