Shardul Pandit who is currently doing Kitni Mohabbat Hai 2 was to do the show the first time around but it did not work out then and he took up Bandini.

A source says, “Shardul was actually finalized to do the original Kitni Mohabbat Hai but a few things did not work out and he was offered Bandini. But, once the second season came up and so did the idea of getting a radio jockey then everyone wanted Shardul back. Shardul has been a radio jockey in real life and he is an actor too so we knew he would play this character well.

“Apart from that Shardul just did not come and join the team but he helped the team in the set up of the radio station. As he has been a RJ he knew how a radio station looked exactly from the inside so he helped the team set things there too.”

Shardul confirmed the same and said, “Yes, I couldn’t do the first season but I am here in the second. And I get to do both radio and acting and I love it. This character that I am playing here is also different from all the other characters I have played before. The best part is every show I did never had a love story in it but this time I have a love triangle.”

Shardul is currently also dubbing for the Hollywood animation movie Blue. He will be the voice for the lead parrot named Blue. Apart from that he is writing cricket world cup-related capsules for Big FM and also hosting events. When asked how he manages to do all of it he said, “It’s better to keep yourself busy with creative work rather than staying at home all alone.”
