Prithvi Zutshi and Sujay Reu in Colors' Shastri Sisters

The tale of four sisters, Shastri Sisters (Shakuntalam Productions) on Colors will soon see two new entries. With Alka’s (Neha Pednekar) marriage being finalised, the entry of a prospective groom and father will soon enter the scenario. The role of the guy, Rohan will be played by Sujay Reu and his father Harishankar will be essayed by veteran actor Prithvi Zutshi. Commenting on his role, Prithvi Zutshi said, “I took up the role mainly because I have worked with Shakuntalam Productions before and I strongly believe that they are clean and cooperative people. Besides this, I have also heard a lot about Shastri Sisters and its popularity.” Sujay Reu added, “My character is similar to that of Ajay Devgn’s in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. I will be in love with Alka since day one but since she will be in love with Rajeev, the plot will thicken. My entry will take place during the mata ki chowki episode. I had a lot of fun with the cast and I have already bonded with all, including the senior cast.” Speaking about his previous work as an actor, Sujay said, “I have previously played the lead in Ram Milaayi Jodi and Laxmi. The whole of last year, I was busy shooting for episodics.” Their entry will air this Saturday (9 August).
