Akshay Kumar’s slapstick Bollywood movie Entertainment having a dog in the thick of things is releasing on 8 August. And the creatives of SAB TV’s show FIR (Edit II Productions) seem to have got some inspiration from the movie.
The scenario is not that of a movie-show promotional integration yet in an upcoming episode viewers will experience a canine touch to the plot.
The story will focus on a story wherein a character named Suresh Surila (Deepesh Bhan) will end up kidnapping an aggressive dog called Woofer belonging to his neighbour (played by Shekhar Shukla). The latter will then take this complaint to Imam Chowky where Chandramukhi Chautala (Kavita Kaushik) will investigate the reason behind the kidnapping.
It will later be revealed that Suresh Surila kidnapped the dog to get rid of his mother-in-law (Sapna Sirwarkar) and this will be followed by an interesting storyline where Chandramukhi will explain the duo the importance of relationship.
Kavita Kaushik remained unavailable for comment.
On contacting Deepesh, he stated, “Every episode of FIR is very interesting and so will this be. This episode revolving around a dog will be equally exciting and I am sure the viewers would enjoy it. Every actor wants to essay different roles and FIR provides us, guest artists, and opportunity to do so and I am proud to be associated with this project.”
