I have suffered a lot but nobody is interested in that: Raja Chaudhary

Raja Chaudhary
Raja Chaudhary has always been more in the news for all the wrong reasons. Be it his violent behaviour or his bitter relationship with estranged wife Shweta Tiwari or his various liaisons. After a slew of offences the actor has been externed from the city of Mumbai and has been ordered to stay out of the city limits for a year. The enfant terrible is back on the small screen as Bhavani Singh in Kahani Chandrakanta Ki… In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar Raja takes some hard hitting questions head-on. Excerpts from the interview Tell us something about your character in Kahani Chandrakanta Ki He is a very loyal warrior of Shivgadh and also has magical powers that can transform him to any other human being. He is very loyal to Maharaj Shivdutt. Unfortunately there is always more negative news about you than positive. Comment See you have already mentioned the word ‘unfortunately’. When you’re unfortunate you can’t really do much other than accepting things. But this does not mean that things will not change. It’s just that people want to test me all the time. Any reality show in the pipeline? No. But if I get any good offer I will definitely accept it. Will you do a show like Fear Factor? No, I won’t be able to do a show like Fear Factor as I am scared of insects. Are you a very emotional person? Yes I am. Being emotional is about respecting people around you. So I want to stay in touch with every person who is close to me. I care for my loved ones but I don’t really do anything special for them. But people close to you have spoken against you in interviews? I remember ever since I started talking to the press issues started cropping up in my life. When you are depressed in life you don’t really weigh and talk. And you can’t really do much if people provoke and take undue advantage of you. So as far as reality is concerned it is worse than what has been written about me. I have suffered a lot but nobody is interested in that. People write about me as per their whims and fancies. There is no fact behind whatever has been written about me. I am not allowed to enter Mumbai. It is so difficult to stay away from home. I still don’t know what my crime is and my lawyers have also been helpless about it. Would you like to offer any clarification? I have lot of documents and other proofs to show that will prove my innocence. There are reasons behind my acts. I went to my ex-wife’s house and I saw her with some other man and then I ended up fighting with them. Why am I the one who is being blamed for everything? Just because I keep quiet the cops arrest me and portray my image as a big criminal. I have to spend more than twelve-thirteen hours in law proceedings where I am not treated like a star but a hardcore criminal. Whenever I leave or enter this city I have to inform the police. It is quite harrowing. Maybe one day I’d be able to understand the real meaning of ‘law’ but I still have respect for the Indian judiciary system. Don’t you think anger is the real problem behind all your troubles? I don’t think so. I feel even if I would have been a calm-natured person, I would have had my own issues. It’s just that my case has always come under the scanner. Are you and Shraddha (Sharma) still together? I really don’t know who I am with right now. I am away from the city right now and entirely concentrating on myself and my work. I am very much single and looking forward to broadening my career prospects. Any message for your daughter? I want to tell her that I will love her till I am alive. Though we cannot meet, I am just a phone call away if she ever needs me.
