13th Indian Telly Awards: Vote Now- Best Dance Talent Show

Dance reality shows have always been a hit on the idiot box no matter what form they come in. From Jhalak to Nach Baliye to Dance India Dance, viewers have always found these reality shows far more entertaining as compared to musical ones. With many popular dance reality shows getting beamed on television today, the competition has just got stiffer. We take a look those who made it to nomination list of the 13th Indian Telly Awards. Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6 (Colors) One of the most popular dance reality show where a celeb teams up with his or her dance instructor to set the stage ablaze with their performance. The show's USP has been the eclectic mix of contestants and skilled judges that include Madhuri Dixit, Remo D'souza and Karan Johar. The last season was hosted by masterclass comedians Kapil Sharma and Manish Sharma both of whom of course kept laughter flowing in at regular intervals. Drashti Dhami and her choreographer Salman Yusuff Khan walked away with the coveted trophy last season. Dance India Dance - Season 4 (Zee TV) This show unearths real young talented dancers of India. Aspirants come in from far and wide and the chosen ones are helped by trainers in honing their skills. Show's choreographers were Mudassar Khan, Feroz Khan and Shruti Merchant while the star attraction was Mithun Chakraborty as the grandmaster. 17 year old Shyam Yadav from Mumbai was declared winner last season. Dance India Dance Super Moms (Zee TV) The first ever dance contest for all the dancer mothers of India was a huge hit. Mothers came in hordes to participate and display their dancing abilities to the world. Housewives, single mothers and others putting their best dance foot forward made for a great spectacle. Finally, a housewife from Kolkata, Mithu Chowdhury walked away with top honours. Dance India Dance L’il Masters Season 3 (Zee TV) What mothers can do, children can do better. No other sight in the world is much more admirable than watching a tiny tot groove with grace. Dance India Dance Lil Master Season 3 gave us many such smiling moments when little kids with zero inhibitions showed the world that they can match adults step to step when it comes dancing. Season 3 of Lil Master was extremely well received and winning the prize this time was a 11-year old little girl from Nepal. Nach Baliye Season 6 (Star Plus) Nach Baliye rocked and much had to do with the channels choice of anchors. They went in for two hot looking actors - Karan Wahi and Gautum Rode - both of whom had no problems taking off their shirts as and when required. The show which features celebrity couples as dancers was judged in its 6th season by Shilpa Shetty, Sajid Khan and Terrence Lewis. Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi lifted the crown last season. Boogie Woogie Kids Championship (Sony Entertainment Television) India's oldest and highly acclaimed dance reality show Boogie Woogie returned back last year with their brand new kids championship. Javed Jaffery, Naved Jaffery and Ravi Behl took their place as judges while Sargun Mehta and Rakshit Wahi did the hosting.
