After Buddha, Kajal Jain grabs yet another historical in Sony PAL's Singhasan Battisi

Dheeraj Kumar's Creative Eye Limited is gearing up for the launch of their one-of-its-kind historical cum fantasy based show, Singhasan Battisi on Sony PAL which will premiere on 1 September. It is known to all that Siddharth Arora and Karan Suchak will be playing the central roles of Raja Bhoj and King Vikramaditya respectively. We now get to hear that the beautiful Kajal Jain who has just recently finished essaying the role of Yashodhara in Zee TV's Buddha has been roped in to play a prominent role in Singhasan Battisi. As per a source, "Kajal will play the wife of King Vikramaditya; her character name will be Chitralekha. The lady will be very brave and will have the attribute of fore seeing future. Her track with Vikramaditya (Karan Suchak) will be shown in the stories of Raja Bhoj. She will have a prominent role to play." When contacted, Sandhya Riaz, Ideation Head, Creative Eye Ltd confirmed the news saying, "Yes, Kajal is playing the role of Chitralekha, wife of Vikramaditya." We also contacted Kajal who said, "I never knew that I would immediately grab yet another historical show post Buddha. All of it happened quickly, and I took an overnight decision of playing this role. Chitralekha is again an amazing character, and the lady will always be shown when Vikramaditya will be shown." For the uninitiated, the first promo of Singhasan Battisi is presently on air. And in just few days time, the response to the promo has been very impressive. On social networking sites where the link of the promo has been put, fans have been flooding the pages, appreciating the uniqueness of the show.
