Rumi Khan to feature in Sony PAL's Singhasan Battisi

Sony PAL’s Singhasan Battisi (Creative Eye) will see Raja Bhoj’s (Siddharth Arora) fight against a powerful king by name Rudrankh. Noted actor Rumi Khan who has earlier portrayed the negative role of Bhaktawar in Ek Veer Ki Ardaas.. Veera, and as Nirbhay in Uttaran will play the role of the tyrant king in the show. Rudrankh will be a very unpredictable person, who would be seen laughing at one time, but would show his venom and anger at the very next second. He would at times love his son a lot, only to plot to kill him when in an angry mood. In the challenge thrown in by Jaylaxmi (Aditi Sajwan), the first putli that Raja Bhoj would encounter, Raja Bhoj will have to win over the powerful king Rudrankh. When contacted, Rumi Khan confirmed the news stating, “Yes, I will be seen in Singhasan Battisi, it is a very challenging role as the man is out and out negative. It is a cameo that will go on for nearly 5-6 episodes.” Rumi was last seen essaying the role of Keechak in Star Plus’ Mahabharat. Rumi’s track will go on air from tonight’s episode (9 September).
