Balaji to launch two new shows

It seems like Ekta Kapoor is enjoying the flavour of regional television as after producing a Marathi show Maziya Priyala Preet Kalena on Zee Marathi the queen of daily soaps is now all geared up to produce two more Marathi shows for Zee Marathi and ETV Marathi respectively. Our source informs, “Balaji Telefilms is known to experiment with shows and concepts and the latest is that the production house will soon announce two new projects. The first show on Zee Marathi will be a family drama about two families where the boy’s side will be from a city and the girl’s family will be based in Kolhapur. The story will have a cultural backdrop and the show will go on air in the first week of August. The actors in the show are renowned Marathi artists Prasad Jawade and Ashwini Ekbote amongst others. Balaji’s second project will be for ETV Marathi which will be a crime-based show. The casting of this show is currently in progress.” Ekta Kapoor remained unavailable.
