The ‘not so well dressed’ at the 13th Indian Telly Awards

The 13th Indian Telly Awards’ ground event had a super fabulous turn out from the world of TV and Bollywood. While many managed to wow us via their impressive attires, there were few who left us a tad disappointed with their not so impressive styling.

We believe they should have taken more care and put more effort before making a move to attend the function. After all, you got to look extra special at the ‘baap’ of all awards.

After receiving great reader response to our article featuring ‘Best Dressed Celebs’ at the 13th Indian Telly Awards, we bring you the names of those, who were a bit underdressed.  Read on…

Disha Parmar: We are aware that she was busy shooting and came to the event straight from the sets. But she could have made the effort to change into a pair of presentable slippers rather than the appalling home chappals. They were kind of an eye sore to her dress and personality. Also the statement necklace just didn’t complement herwhite and golden sequined dress.

Vikas Khanna: India is close to his heart, but choosing to wear a casual kurta gave us an heartbreak.  Blessed with super good looks and great personality, Vikas could have done a lot better. Next time, may be.

Divyaalakshmi: What were you thinking Divya when you decided on wearing that nose ring? You look amazing wearing that on screen but on a red carpet, it’s a big no no.  And on top of that a black cotton saree for the occasion just killed the mood. You are beautiful, just get a better stylist next time.

Shakti Kapoor: He is known for his careless attitude but when there is a starry event happening, we wish Shakti turned up in style! A causal white tee which had random sentences written across was paired with a white loose jacket and a dark blue pant. Burrppp!

Shafaq Naaz and Falak Naaz: They are one of the most beautiful sisters in the industry, and we really don’t know what made the Naaz sisters select these outfits for the big night. While Falak was dressed in a pink saree with vague prints making it look more like a bed sheet. As for Shafaq, she chose a shiny blue full length gown which looked a tad off the counter with its not so eye pleasing diamond brooch.

Shakti Anand: A great on and off screen personality just got wasted with the teenage styled outfit. White tee, orange pants and a blue sleeveless jacket matched with brown ankle length boots, Shakti, that’s so not cool. We would have so loved to see you in something smart.

Sneha Wagh: We don’t know why Sneha didn’t check the mirror before leaving for the event. A perfect dress and make up got spoilt by those heels. No, the shoes did look great but with the increase in height your pretty dress looked as if it shrunk. Added to that, the dress already had a semi lining which made it look all the more weird.

Rohit Bhardwaj: Rohit seemed to have walked in after having a great time with his friends. A loose fitted jeans, a casual tee and a wind cheater- it just didn’t suit the magnificence and elegance of the awards show. When your fellow costars took so much effort in dressing up in suits, a bit of prior discussion with them could have been of great help to you.

Neha Sargam and Neil Bhatt: While on one side Neha seemed to have wrapped a curtain around herself, with an unflattering leather belt; Neil’s maroon pants with a black jacket did not impress us either. The rumoured couple have done a lot better.

Mishkat Varma: A pair of blue trousers, a white shirt and a blue jacket- what caused you to casually make an entry young boy! And then wearing casual converse shoes which looked dirty. A smart and young guy like you could have done so much better. Take a tip or two from your lovely sister (Mihika) to make a remarkable entry next time!
