The Deepika Padukone cleavage controversy hit a new high, or low, whatever.
Times of India apparently uploaded a video coaxing people to ogle at Deepika’s cleavage, which the actress found offending and protested against. She wrote a rather poignant and detailed letter suggesting her hurt and disgust at the act. Bollywood celebs also rallied in her favour, by sharing their views on different social media platforms.
Soon, TOI came into action by publishing its version on the entire controversy as the lead story on Bombay Times, which again was pretty amusing for many including us.
However, the entire hullabaloo was taken a notch higher when the Twitterati created a hashtag #ReplaceMovieNameWithCleavage. The social space went frenzy with people tweeting in bulk. But we wonder who’s the joke on, Deepika or TOI? That only Twitterati can answer.
