Ragesh exits Sasural; enters Beend Banoongaa…

Veteran actor Ragesh B Asthanaa who is currently doing Sasural Simar Ka on Colors has moved on to Imagine’s Beendh Banoongaa Ghodi Chadhunga. A source says, “Ragesh’s role in Sasural Simar Ka will soon draw curtains after Simar’s wedding sequence but he will continue entertaining his fans as he has taken up Beendh Banoongaa Ghodi Chadhunga on Imagine. On this show he plays the role of a college dean Dr Qureshi whose character is a lot similar to that of Boman Irani’s in the movie Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. He is a strict disciplinarian but also a friend, philosopher and guide for his students. Furthermore, in the show Sarika is back to college and she will have to face Dr Qureshi who will be strict with her as she has missed fourteen lectures due to issues at her in-laws’ place. But later he will learn about her problems and start helping her. He will become her best friend and also a father figure.” Ragesh confirmed his participation in the show and said, “Yes, I play the role of a college dean who is strict with the students but there are also other interesting shades to the character. I started shooting for Beendh Banoongaa… a day before and my entry was shown in yesterday’s episode.”
