Ram Gopal Varma denies signing Kapil Sharma for his upcoming movie

Kapil Sharma is yet to make his Bollywood debut but rumours about his future projects keep making waves. After being dropped like a hot potato by YRF from BankChor, Kapil is reported to have signed an Abbas- Mastan film that will mark his Bollywood debut. And if a new rumour is to be believed then the comedian has been cast by maverick director Ram Gopal Varma in the latter's upcoming next, reportedly a love story. According to a new gossip coming straight from the source's mouth, RGV has cast Kapil in the meaty role of a cop. Kapil will apparently start shooting for the movie after finishing Abbas-Mastan's project. While there is no clarification from Kapil yet, we texted RGV to know if the news of him having signed Kapil is true. The director responded back to our message with a curt, 'No' which implies that RGV hasn't signed Kapil for any of his projects. He also later sent us another text message saying that “heard the news from the first time from us”. Meanwhile, Kapil remained unavailable for comment. We shall keep an eye on further developments.
