It's over! Hrithik and Sussanne are officially divorced

Finally, after enough trials and tribulations, the Hrithik-Sussanne love story and marriage has come to a formal closure. The duo had filed for divorce in the family court in April this year and after a wait of the mandatory six month period, divorce by mutual consent was granted to the couple by the court today. Both Hrithik and Sussanne were present in the court with their respective lawyers. Thankfully, there was no acrimony between the two and Hrithik even escorted Sussanne back to her car post the completion of the legal proceedings. Reportedly, the custody of the kids is joint. The kids will stay with Sussanne and Hrithik will look after their interests in the best possible manner. The Hrithik-Sussanne love story stood the test of time for almost a decade till rumours of Hrithik's alleged dalliances with Kites co-star Barbara Mori emerged. An angry Sussanne had then walked out of the house and shifted into a hotel as a show of protest. Things were however sorted out soon but inevitably cracks had developed. The final nail in the coffin was driven last year and soon after the release of Krrish 3, Hrithik emailed a statement announcing his separation from Sussanne. What however remains unknown is the real reason behind the split. While some point out to Hrithik's alleged infidelity others say it was Sussanne who allegedly had problems getting along with Hrithik's mother Pinky. With both going their separate ways officially now, we can only wish the two beautiful people lots of love and luck in their future endeavours.
