Sonali Nikam to play Naintara in Geet

We earlier broke the news that the character of Naintara in Star One’s Geet Hui Sabse Parayi will either be played by Sonali Nikam or Navina Bole. The role was earlier played by Karishma Randhawa. However, the latest news is that Sonali Nikam who was last seen in Sab TV’s Jaankhilavan Jasoos is confirmed to play the role of Naintara in the show. Our source informs, “Karishma Randhawa who earlier played the character of Dev’s (Samir Sharma) wife Naintara is no longer willing to take up the project due family commitments. She is happily married and wants to spend time with her family, so Sonali Nikam will now essay the role of Naintara. Meanwhile, the show will witness a high-point with the return of Naintara in Dev’s life. Dev is running away from his past as he fears it might harm his relationship with Nandini. In tonight’s episode, viewers will get to see some glimpses of Naintara. She will try to blackmail Dev by telling him that she will reveal his past to Nandini." When contacted Sonali Nikam she confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I have accepted the role and I will start shooting from tomorrow.”
