Life is treating Arya well after a long stint in Bigg Boss. For the moment his plate looks fully loaded with few Punjabi movies, Bollywood film Bangistan and his debut novel that has a name as quirky as My fiancée, Me &# I f***ed up. Tellychakkar.com caught up with Arya for a quick tete-a-tete at a college festival yesterday where he was invited to promote his book.
Tell us what the book is all about?
My book is all about college life and college students. It has the language that college students talk in or rather the language I used to talk in while I was in college. The name of the book is My fiancée, Me &# I f***ed up. And I have f***ed up a lot in my life. I have drawn from my own personal experiences, experiences of my friends but it is the story about one character. In one line, it is the story of love. We all fall in love and we all try to love truly but sometimes we f**k up.
How has life changed after Bigg Boss?
Life has fantastically changed after Bigg Boss. I never knew I was such a patient and calm person. I never knew I could remain sane around bald men going crazy. But I have been able to sustain my calmness and sophistication that my parents brought me up with.
Are you in touch with Minissha Lamba?
Yes. Everything is pretty good and very nice. I wish her all the very best.
What’s you take on Gautam and Diandra’s blooming relationship?
I have no take. I am not taking anyone so what take should I offer. It’s their life and they should be happy with whatever they are doing. And I can understand their frustration inside the house.
Will you meet Puneet once he is out of the house?
I would meet him and touch his feet because that is the way my parents have brought me up. But he is a very bad human being for me to respect or keep any family ties with.
Who would you say should win Bigg Boss and why?
Upen Patel. He is a brother from another mother. I had also given him my kada (religious bangle). He is the only positive person in the house who is not involved in any gossiping around and who is playing clean.
What kind of an equation do you share with Salman Khan today?
Salman bhai has the biggest heart in the industry. I would just say we have a family connection but right now it is a heart-to-heart connect with him. When Mr. Issar physically violated me and broke the contract, Salman was the only man who told Puneet that what he did was wrong and that he should be disqualified. That’s a big thing coming from a host.
Any film offers from Salman Khan?
(Smiles) You will know soon. As of now, I am busy with Bangistan, Punjab movies and my book.
