Ekta Kapoor's first Star One venture, Krimpson Skies, is finally taking concrete shape with most of the cast finalised by the soap queen. The four leads, who form the core of the show, have been zeroed in on, and the primary schedule has been shot, we learn. A still from One Tree Hill The story of Krimson Skies has been adapted from One Tree Hill, which is an English soap currently aired on Star World. The story is a trifle complicated with a plethora of twists and turns, clearly different from all Balaji soaps thus far! The serial has a major musical milieu. It revolves around an old man (yet to be cast), who was a great musician in his time and now wants his son to be a first-rate musician too. This man also has an illicit son. Both the sons face each other in the music institute where they secure admission. The twist in the story will be when one of the girls in the sketch, gets pregnant after being raped. One has to watch the series to know exactly what it is about! Karan Patel Will portray - Paras (the protagonist) Appearances so far- Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Kesar and Kkavyanjali. His bit- I play the lead in this serial. I am a down to earth, very talented character who is a small time boy, coming to Mumbai and seeking admission to a music institution. And that is the time I confront my step-brother who happens to be in the same field. Moonmoon plays my bum chum who is an extremely close friend. Amit Tandon Will portray - Krish Appearances so far- Indian Idol and Kaise Ye Pyar Hain His bit- I can't say much as I am still under a contract. But yes, it's something which I always wanted to play. It's a very cool, rockstar kind off dude and yes, it revolves around music. Of what we know, he plays the legitimate son in the serial projecting grey shades. He rapes Moonmoon and makes her pregnant. In the original soap, that is One Tree Hill, the step brothers are Lucas and Nathan. Instead of music, here the meeting ground is basketball court. It later turns out to be a love triangle!
