Fan writes book for Faisal Khan

For an actor, it’s always special to have loving fans, but when these fans go on to gift an extra dose of happiness, it can surely be a life changing experience.

Faisal Khan, who played the younger Pratap in Sony Entertainment Television’s Maharana Pratap, has been paid tribute by a fan named Sonnal Pardiwala, through a book. The one of a kind book comprising of the author’s blogs is titled ‘Fan for the First Time.’

Let us get you the details of the book. “I have never been a fan of any actor or any celeb but this young boy just touched my soul somewhere. Hence I started blogging about him and given the positive response received have now published a book,” shared Sonal.

Interestingly the author dedicates her life to Faisal as she averred, “I was going through a personal turmoil and had decided to end my life one day. I was all set to do it and was waiting for my husband and son to go out of the house. Since I enjoyed watching Maharana Pratap, before leaving my son logged on Youtube and told me to enjoy the episodes in their absence. And you won’t believe when I started watching it I got so hooked that the thought of me ending my life did not strike as I sat mesmerized by the young guy’s performance.”

“The way he emotes and expresses on TV has left me a fan of the child. He is a wonderful actor and I am so glad I could pen down something about him. Witnessing Faisal on TV has been a life changing experience for me and I am thankful that he came in my life and brought so much of happiness,” she added.

Interestingly this is the first time that a fan has written a book for his star. “Yes and I am quite surprised and happy to hold this record,” quipped Sonal when we informed her about the same.

We wondered if she got a chance to present her book to the rising star. “Post the publishing of the book I gave the first copy to the producer of the show Abhimanyu Singh who was really elated by the gesture. He also organised my meeting with Faisal which for me is a lifelong treasure.”

Sonal now hopes to market the book and get on to writing more books.

Faisal on his part said: “It’s a proud moment for me and I am very happy that people are buying the book. It’s always a good feeling to know that there are people who love you so much. I thank Sonal for the gesture.”

An enriching story this is.
