Shivang Oza and Kiran Sharad in Life OK's Savdhan India

Shivang Oza and Kiran Sharad

Actor Shivang Oza, who was last seen in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, will be seen playing a mentally challenged character in an upcoming episodic of Life OK’s Savdhan India. The story produced by Saregama Productions, will also have Kiran Sharad the prolific dancer turned actor as the central face along with Shivang.

The story will be about how a girl’s trust and faith in her family will lead to her getting married to a mentally challenged boy, and the manner in which she will fight back for her rights.

Shivang will play the role of Tanmay, who would get married to a pretty girl, played by Kiran. For the girl, her first night will bring in a shocking revelation when amidst all her expectations, she will find out that her husband is in fact mentally not well and behaves like a five years old child. With her family and Tanmay’s family being the main culprits in betraying the girl of a good marriage and future, the girl will stage a fight back for freedom. And this will be when her child-like husband will support her in the cause.

When contacted, Shivang told us, “This is one of the most challenging characters I have played. The entire story revolves around me, and the story will be a gripping watch for viewers.”

As for Kiran, she has appeared in Dance India Dance and has acted in Marathi movies.

This episodic story will air on 30 January.
