& TV’s historical, Razia Sultan produced by Swastik Productions is gearing up for a stupendous launch on 2 March. And the makers have succeeded in roping in the finest of actors to be part of the show. 

Joining the cast will be veteran actor Anil Rastogi, who played Arjun Kapoor’s grandfather in the movie Ishaqzaade. He was also seen playing a pivotal role in Colors’ Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha

In Razia, he will be seen as an age-old man who would profess that Razia will become a heroic warrior in future. His will be a very important cameo performance that will set the pace for Razia’s grand future. 

Also, actress Riya Deepsi who played the role of Gandhari in Swastik Productions’ Mahabharat on Star Plus has been yet again roped in for an important role in their big project on & TV. Recently, Riya has also bagged the role of Akbar’s wife in Sony TV’s Maharana Pratap. 

Riya will be seen essaying the role of a slave girl, who would go on to be the best friend of Razia. 

As we know, Pankhuri Awasthy and Rohit Purohit play the lead roles. Suraj Thapar, Seema Kapoor, Bhavna Chauhan, Sambhavna Seth, Ankit Arora, Behzaad Khan play pivotal roles.

When contacted, Anil and Riya confirmed that they are part of Razia Sultan.
