Veteran actor Rakesh Srivastava, mostly known for his roles in shows like Lapataganj, Office Office and many others, recently in an interview with Tellychakkar.com mentioned that Indian television has changed a lot since the show Balika Vadhu (Colors).
The actor has spent years in the industry and has seen various changes. When we asked him about the same Rakesh mentioned, “Definitely the industry has changed a lot in terms of content, concept, characterization, techniques and all.”
“I believe the show Balika Vadhu has created a massive change in the format of the shows on Indian television. It is a path-breaking show. Even if you look back at the old shows of SAB TV, you will realize how much it has changed and has become more creative now.”
Walking down the memory lane the actor shared about his professional journey. “Since the time of the inception of the channel SAB TV, I am working in its various projects. From shows like Yes Boss, Office Office to Lapataganj and more recently Peterson Hill, I have made a long journey with the channel and its shows.”
When we asked the actor about his latest show Peterson Hill, Rakesh said, “I am playing the role of a police officer, Anil Tyagi, who is in charge of Peterson Hill and is very positive in nature.”
Talking about his association with the producer of the show, Ashwini Dheer, he commented, “The best part about working with Ashwini is that he defines every character. And when someone narrates a character properly then it becomes easy for an actor to sketch.”
We have to mention that we love to watch this actor perform.
