Sony Entertainment Television’s supernatural series Aahat (Fireworks Productions) is super eerie.
The cult show has returned in a fresh avatar and looks scarier than ever. Production value is high and performances of actors are superlative.
And guess what? Talented thespians Prerna Wanvari (Bandini, Parichay, Adaalat), Raj Singh (Pyaar Ka Daard, Pavitra Rishta) and Akshay Sethi (Sasural Genda Phool) have been roped in by the maker for one of the coming episodes.
In a revenge saga, Prerna will be seen as a ghost, Manisha.
Manisha, post marriage, will put up in a hotel for honeymoon. There, fate will take a nasty turn when she will learn about her husband’s illicit relationship. Hurt and dejected, she will commit suicide.
Manisha’s ghost will haunt the hotel and she would kill newlyweds visiting the hotel. Whoever she would kill will also turn into a ghost.
Akshay’s character will be one of those who will be killed by Manisha and Raj’s character Vishal, will be the hotel attendant who would finally solve the case.
When we spoke to Prerna she said: “I am very excited. I am really scared of ghosts and horror films, thus it’s a challenge for me to enact this character. But I am sure it’s going to be a great experience as a performer.”
Raj added: “It’s exciting as after a long time I am playing a positive character.”
Akshay on his part shared: “I love the make-up part. It’s quite intriguing. Do watch the episode.”
