A new man in Bhabhi's life!

A new character, Krish is entering the Bhabhi plot shortly. Saroj, the ever suffering Bhabhi, will soon get to play a slightly different role - one with romantic overtones. Krish will be played by Kartik Sabharwal, a model who's appeared in various commercials and has played the lead in Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr earlier on Star Plus. Bhabhi, for the uninitiated, is a transition from being an unrequited love story in the classical mould, to the story of a conflict of value systems in a marriage in today's urban consumerist society. Krish is attitude personified with a razor sharp wit and charm. Krish, according to the unwinding Bhabhi plot, has just returned from the US and is an artistic maverick of sorts who is trying to make a small digital film. Saroj's life, meanwhile, is in turmoil, with her trying to get justice for Manju (who was raped by Saroj's devar-Rakesh). Saroj, in her battle for justice, moves out of the family and into a flat of her own. Krish ends up landing in the same house occupied by Saroj and claiming accommodation. A love-hate relationship develops between the two that eventually has Krish gradually attracted to Saroj because he sees stability, dignity and the beauty of truth in our heroine. Of course, in the course of acting lawyer to Saroj, he does not realise that Saroj is married and falls for her. The ironical and tragic twist in the tale for Krish will come later when he discovers that the person who he loves, is married and her husband, Tilak, is very closely related to him… PS- Bhabhi in real life, Dolly Sohi, meanwhile, is just getting ready to pack her bags for a sabbatical from the serial - she's getting married on 4 March to NRI beau Avneet Dhanowa.
