Star One launches Naya Office Office

First you saw it on SAB TV and now it's on Star One, but in a fresh new avatar!!! We are talking about the award winning rib-tickling comedy, Naya Office Office that will go on air on 21 July on Star One at 8.30 pm. Moving away from the sarkari office environment, to more contemporary situations, the half an hour brand new series every week, promises to be a rib tickling affair! Moving away from the 'traditional' TV comedies, the Naya Office Office satire tackles the trials and tribulations faced by the common man. The principal characters of the show Mussadilal, Mr. Bhatia, Mr. Pandey, Mr. Shukla, Mrs. Usha and Mr. Patel bring alive the concept. The show revolves around these true to life characters and the problems they face from rations to electricity bills and from insurance policies to telephone exchange... highlighting the often illogical situations that one has to go through to get work done. In this new series, Naya Office Office shifts from its traditional, sarkari office environment to more contemporary situations. The original star cast of the show returns from Pankaj Kapoor, Manoj Pahawa and Hemant Pandey to Sanjay Mishra and Asavari Joshi. Noted TV and film actor Vrijesh Hirjee joins this stupendous star cast, essaying the role of Mr. Patel, earlier played by Deven Bhojani. It seems Friday nights on Star One are going to be fun-packed, starting with Naya Office Office at 8.30 pm, followed by The Great Indian Laughter Challenge 'Dwitiya' at 9pm!
