"I was to make an appearance at the Zee Antakshari finale taking place at Famous Studios, Mahalakshmi. I decided to go to my aunt's place to change since it is located near the studio," she recounts. "My car, a maroon coloured Maruti Zen bumped into a BEST bus near Heera Panna. My car got stuck. It was evening, and the place was crowded, but no one came ahead to help. I was all alone trying to pull it out," she recollects with horror. "Somehow, I pulled it out and made my way to my aunt's place. I missed the shoot. But at least I am safe and sound. I have just hurt my leg," she sighs. "I haven't registered an NC with the police. My car is in a bad shape," she says sadly. But Kamya is strong willed and has almost overcome the shock. So much so that she will start shooting for her shows right away. "I want to be professional and don't want to hamper the shooting schedule," she says. "My producer is very understanding. I have just had my schedule for the day postponed because I am feeling feverish over the whole episode," she adds. Luckily for her life is not all dark. She has sincere well wishers in her co-stars. Her co-star in Reth Ankur Nayyar expressed shock on hearing about her accident and Reth's director Neelima Bajpai has wished her good health. She will get her new black coloured Tata Indica tomorrow.
