What's in a name? – JD Majethia

Well, that's what producer JD Majethia of Hats Off Productions has to say when we observed his name was misspelt in the first episode of Shree, the latest show from the Hats Off kitty that kicked off on Monday. The show that is telecast on Zee, apparently had his spelling incorrect as Majethia and interestingly, JD knew about it before the telecast too. When the channel informed him that the uplinks would be made for the corrections, he flatly refused, not wishing to affect the show. "Since I was not in the country, I couldn't check the master. I had a word with someone from Zee and they assured me they would uplink and make the changes. But when such changes are made, the quality of the show suffers and I didn't want to compromise on anything with respect to the show. After all, what's there in a name, the show means a lot more to me," quipped JD. Shree happens to be a love story with a supernatural element and stars newcomers Pankaj Tiwari and Wasna Ahmed. It is for the first time Hats Off has ventured out of its forte - comedy and family drama.
