Taarak Mehta... celebrates Dussehra for the first time in three years

SAB TV’s favourite series, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (Obviously, what’s with all the repetitions throughout the day) will be celebrating Dussehra for the very first time in the Gokuldham Society. A little birdie says, “Gokuldham society used to celebrate Navratri and Diwali but this is the first time in three years that they are planning to perform a whole Raavan Wadh skit and celebrate Dussehra as well. The only decision that’s left is who will play the role of Raavan and Ram. Popatlal wanted to try his hands at Ram but Bhide opts for Jethalal to play the role. However the decision is yet to be made. But we would obviously like the heartthrob Jethalal to be Sri Ram.” When we spoke to Mandar Chandawadkar (Aatmaram Bhide), he said, “Yes we are celebrating Dussehra for the first time and everybody is very excited to be a part of it in the Gokuldham Society.”
