Kangana Ranaut finally confirmed that she would be attending the National Awards to receive it in person. The actress said that she would be wearing the saree gifted by her sister Rangoli to the National Awards. Confirming the same Kangana said, "I plan to wear the saree gifted to me by my sister Rangoli. Rekhaji had gifted me a Kanjeevaram saree after I won the Filmfare Award but I won't be wearing that."
Kangana who was the showstopper for fashion brand Liva also praised Rekha for her ethereal grace and called as her fashion inspiration. "I am close to Rekhaji and the conversation that happened between me and her is personal. She congratulated me for my national award."
While Kangana is seen as a fashion inspiration to many, the actress is more inspired by the fashionistas of the era gone by including Audrey Hepburn, Madhubala and among the current generation, Sonam Kapoor.
It would be worthwhile to see a saree clad Kangana receiving her National Award from the President.
