'Sensitive' Kangana Ranaut can't stand criticism

Kangana Ranaut

Who likes being criticized? Apparently no one. And in a field like Bollywood where stakes are sky high and every Friday deciding your box-office standing, criticism is the last thing one wants to ruin their good mood. While not many in tinseltown will admit to being sensitive to criticism, Kangana Ranaut is one actress who has never held back from speaking the truth.

At Anupama Chopra’s book launch, Kangana was quite forthcoming when asked about her reluctance in joining the social networking site unlike other colleagues. Said Kangana, “It is not easy to be where we are. There is so much work pressure. So many expectations people have from us. I don’t know about others but I am not on Twitter because I am very sensitive.”

While many may claim to take criticism with a pinch of salt, Kangana takes every criticism aimed at her seriously. Though sensitive, she tries hard how to overcome the weakness that made her the subject of a particular scathing remark. Explained the Queen actress, “I started very young. I am very sensitive and take criticism very seriously. It is not possible for me to believe that people can criticize for fun. For me, criticism is like a proper feedback. So if you call me a bitch, I would take it seriously and ask you from which angle I look like one. I would take it seriously and make it a constructive thing for my personality and the work that I do.”

Kangana also revealed that she can’t deal with criticism. “If people are doing it for fun, or to be nasty or because they are having a bad day, I can’t deal with that. I think there are all kinds of people out there and I don’t have to know all of them,” said Kangana.

Well, after Queen we are sure only flowers and praises have been presented to Kangana.
