Dancing wonder Karan Khanna in Star Plus’ Manmarziyan

The young dancing sensation Karan Khanna, who impressed the world with his moves in Just Dance, will soon be back on TV with Star Plus’ Manmarziyan (Swastik Pictures). The actor will be seen playing a fun young guy Saral, best friend of the lead Radhika (Monica Sehgal). He would also want to marry her someday. Saral will be a constant support to Radhika but he will be heartbroken with her deciding to move to Mumbai to build up a career. How his character would shape up and add more twist to the show will be for viewers to see. Talking about his acting debut, the good looking Karan shared, “After my reality show, I was busy with events and also assisting my dad, Babbu Khanna, who is an action director. We were working on Mahabharat (Swastik show on Star Plus) when producer Siddharth Tewary approached me to audition for this show. Having being interested in acting all along, I readily agreed.” Though the actor sounded tad disappointed on the length of his character he is positive about the impact it will create. “An actor’s job is to give his best and create a mark in whatever role he plays. And I am sure viewers would love my character as it is very real and interesting. The show overall is so relatable that it will definitely hit the right chords.” When asked on what kind of roles he would like to do in the future, Karan smiled and said ,“Currently I am busy with my international shows for some time. Also I would be back shooting for Manmarziyan. Hopefully will get something interesting soon. I am really keen to do some dance reality show, let’s see how things work out.” Wish you luck young boy!!!!
