#WorldBookDay: TV Celebs And Their Favourite Books

With the celebration of words and stories being celebrated today (23 April) on the occasion of World Book Day, we got TV celebs to talk about their favourite book.

Here, the popular actors are seen sharing details about the book that inspired them. Read on...

Roopal Tyagi- I love ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne. It changed the way I looked at life. The book makes you feel lighter and positive; it’s a way of life. And I really hope everyone reads it at least once.

Pooja Banerjee- I really loved the book called ‘It's Not About the Bike: My Journey Back To Life’ by Lance Armstrong. But unfortunately it’s no more an autobiography and has turned into fiction.

Vivek Mishra- My favourite book is ‘Kamasutra’ as it enhances the knowledge of physical pleasure and also educates on various postures! It also narrates that sex is pious and not a dirty thing to look down. Kamasutra has a great impact on my life and I practice and follow the postures and advices given in it.

Tina Dutta- Rabindranath Tagore novel ‘The Cycle Of Spring’ is my favourite. It was very touchy and blew my mind completely. I would recommend the book to everyone.

Gunjan Utreja: One book which influenced my life is 'Unposted Letter'. In fact I have gifted the same to a lot of people over the past year. The book talks about the most complex issues of life in the simplest of the words. The book completely uplifts your soul.

Himmanshoo Malhotra- My favourite is ‘Who Will Cry When You Die’ by Robin Sharma. The book has deep meaning and is very realistic.

Mrunal Jain- My favourite book is ‘When Bad Things Happen To Good People’ by Harold S. Kushner. The book is very touchy and explores human emotions as they are. It really inspires me.

Rashami Desai: My favourite book is ‘The Fountain Head’ by Ayn Rand. It depicts the life in perfect way and is inspiring.

Jay Soni- I love ‘Jonathan Livingston Seagull’ by Richard Bach. The book teaches how to fly with the wings of dreams and how your goals should be different.

Ridhi Dogra- I love Rajesh Khanna's biography ‘The Dark Star’. It gives an insight into a superstar’s life. It’s a must read.
