Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actor gets INKED

Amit Tandon

Tattoos are definitely in vogue these days and there are few actors, who know how to create their own fashion statements. And singer turned actor, Amit Tandon, who is currently seen in popular Star Plus show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (Balaji Telefilms), is surely one of them, who knows a thing or two with style.

The young and dashing actor recently inked his grandparents’ face on his left arm.

Amit shared, “I have always wanted to get tattoo in my arm and finally now I decided to do it. I am very much close to my grandparents, they have raised me up, and hence, I could not think of anyone apart from them to ink on my arm. The thought was with me for a long time, more over my grandmom was not keeping well for sometimes. But, thankfully she is reviving now, so I thought it is the best time to get it done.”

Aww, isn’t that really sweet readers?

So, your grandparents are aware about the art work? “Unfortunately my grandfather passed away, but wherever his soul is, he must be watching me. And as for my grandmother all I can say is as soon as I will meet her, she will scold me for doing all this on my body. But I know, somewhere down the line, she will be happy and will appreciate my decision.”

The actor was all praises about his tattoo artist Manjeet and said, “I made him and his assistant flew down to Mumbai from Delhi as I wanted only him to do the art. And after this work of him I believe he is the best tattoo artist in this entire world.”

Amit, who also participated in the first season of singing reality show, Indian Idol, is also set to launch his Punjabi single soon.

We wish him all the best for his upcoming ventures.
