Tellychakkar.com reported about KK Media Group coming with a new show based on the life of famous Hindu poet-saint Goswami Tulsidas.
The makers have roped in Veer Shivaji fame Paras Arora to play the role of Tulsidas. The show was pitched to both Sony TV and Doordarshan and we have learnt that finally it will air on DD sometime in August.
Furthermore, DD will also beam a show on the life of Saint Swami Vivekananda. The project will be produced by a new production house called Educational Productions.
The makers have already signed Mary Kom fame Robin Das to play the important character of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Swami’s guru.
We have also heard that the lead role of Swami might be portrayed by Alan Kapoor, currently seen in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka.
To get a confirmation, we called Alan who said, “I have been approached to play the role of Swami but nothing has been finalized yet.”
Both the shows will be directed by Santosh Badal.
