Birthday Special: Paresh Rawal's Best 70mm Characters

Birthday Special: Paresh Rawal

One thing we should thank Bollywood for is this accomplished actor, Paresh Rawal! Whether it's comedy, villainy or character roles, this actor aces it like no other. As he turns a year older today, we list out his top roles in Bollywood...take a look:

Kanji Lalji Mehta in OMG! Oh My God:

As the anti-God fearing, practical idol seller, Paresh Rawal was at his funniest best in this movie. Pitted against his old comic partner, Akshay Kumar, Rawal delivers his career's most sizzling performance. If you like him, don't forget to watch this flick!

Tikku in Tamanna:

As a eunuch in this brilliant 1997 movie, Rawal delivers a memorable performance. It's pretty difficult to pull off the role of a transgender without turning it into a caricature of sorts. Kudos to him for tackling the role like the pro he is!

Babu bhaiya in Hera Pheri:

Even at the prime of his career, the talented actor didn't shy away from playing a middle-aged Baburao Ganpatrao Apte who's the main comic element of this Priyadarshan fare. His kickass dialogue delivery and crackling chemistry with Akshay and Suniel Shetty makes this movie a must-watch. Who can forget his dhoti-clad, chashma-sporting silly self?

Dr Ghungroo of Welcome:

One of his finest roles saw him play Akshay Kumar's crazy mama Dr Ghungroo who pull the entire family into misery. While the comic caper gave us the memorable Akshay-Katrina combo, it was Rawal's flawless performance that makes this movie an umpteen-time watch!

Cook of Garam Masala:

In this epic deception movie, Paresh Rawal plays a confused cook who has to deal with Akshay and John Abraham's philandering ways! He not only has to cook food according to each of their girlfriends, but also have to listen to their tantrums! And, boy! Did he knock it out of the park or what?

Teja of Andaz Apna Apna:

When the talented actor plays a dual role, it's double the fun for us! As the good guy as well as the baddie, Rawal makes this cult classic a super fun movie to watch. Don't believe us? Watch it for yourself.
