Sony TV’s Dil Ki Baatein to go off air

Here is a piece of saddening news for all you fans of Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane. The Sony Entertainment Television project is all set to bid farewell to TV screens next month. Credible sources inform us that the show that launched earlier this year will air its last episode on 17 July. Starring Ram Kapoor and Gurdeep Kohli in the lead, Dil Ki Baatein projected the tale of a man whose life changed post his wife’s untimely death. How his daughter, played by the talented Mahima Makwana, took responsibility of her father and made him overcome the loss formed the crux of the story. The stellar star cast also included Pankaj Dheer, Shailesh Gulbani, Ashish Kaul, Shrey Pareek among others. The source mentions, “Dil Ki Baatein although was expected to be a game changer, it could not connect really well with the masses. With the show not being able to garner number till now, the channel decided to pull the plug off it.” Reportedly the cast has been informed about the show wrapping up which definitely have saddened the entire unit. We sent a text message to producer Guruodev Bhalla but did not receive any revert till the time of filing the story. We also did not get any confirmation from channel’s side.
