I am here to gain experience and make memories: Raftaar

musician Raftaar

The young musician Raftaar, mostly known for his rap pieces started his career as a dancer. And to show his dance moves once again he is all set to shake his legs on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded (BBC) on Colors.

As, all the participants gear up for their performances in the show, we chatted with the young man, and quizzed him about doing the show and Raftaar replied, “Though I have done shows earlier, none of them were as grand scale as Jhalak. So, when I received the offer of doing this series I instantly gave a nod to it.”

“Jhalak will definitely prove to be a big platform for exposure for me. Such platforms help to provide a face for musicians, as many would have heard about my songs but they might not have known my face. In a way, I used to perform for youths till date and now, their parents will also watch me in action,” added the cool rapper candidly.

So, who do you think is your biggest competitor? “I think Sneha is going to give me a tough competition as I would have to match with her performance level every time. And knowing her skills it is not going to be an easy job. Otherwise all the contestants are excellent dancers. And honestly speaking, I am here to gain good experience and make nice memories.”

Praising the young man was her choreographer Sneha, who added, “The best part about Raftaar is that he is always willing to try out something new and learn. I think he will go a long way in the series.”

The singer also shared his wish to try his luck in acting after doing the dance reality show. We wish the talented rapper all the best and hope he finds success in his career.
